Mango Beach, located just south of the city centre, offers a more relaxed vibe. The water here is remarkably clear, and the beach is well-maintained with modern facilities. It is a great choice for those who want to be close to the city but away from the busiest stretches, and the beach club here is known for its excellent aperitivo hour.

Ksamil beaches are undoubtedly the crown jewels of the region. The main beach and the three offshore islands offer Caribbean-like turquoise waters and white sandy shores. You can rent a pedal boat or kayak to reach the islands, or simply swim across during calm conditions. Arrive early in peak season — by noon the best spots are taken — or visit in the shoulder months of May and September for a quieter experience.

Further north along the Riviera, Dhërmi and Jale beaches are worth the scenic drive. Dhërmi has become the stylish heart of Albania's summer music scene, with beach clubs hosting international DJs, while Jale remains more low-key — a crescent of pale pebbles backed by pine-covered slopes.

For families, Pulëbardha Beach just outside Sarandë offers calm, shallow water and easy parking. The surrounding cliffs keep the cove sheltered from afternoon winds, making it a reliable choice even on breezier days.
